How to avoid Buyer’s Remorse – Part 2

Ask yourself: Does the new belonging have somewhere to live?

Can you picture the new belonging in your home?
Where will it be stored?
Do you have a place waiting for it at home?
Is the room in which it will live already cluttered? If so, why are you buying something else to add to the clutter?

Finally, are you buying something to fill a hole not in your home or decor, but somewhere inside that you cannot see?
Is it an attempt to find happiness?
Are you trying to fill a void that can’t ever be filled by more stuff?

If so, maybe you’re buying things to fix a problem that won’t be fixed by buying.
